Thanks for joining us on this journey of building a consistent habit of reading our Bibles every day. The Bible reading plan we are using this year can be found here: One Year Bible or here on the Bible app. As always, if you miss a day, don’t feel compelled to go back and catch up. Just skip it and start back on today’s date. I am reading the NLT this year, but feel free to use whatever version you prefer. Now here are some thoughts from today’s readings:

He brought us out of Egypt so he could give us this land he had sworn to give our ancestors.
‭‭- Deuteronomy‬ ‭6:23‬

What a powerful truth so many Christians miss. Many believers think Jesus died to bring us out of our sin. He did bring us out of our iniquity when He died and rose again, but that’s not why He did it. His goal was much bigger. Jesus’ aim was to bring us into His Kingdom, into a relationship with God, and into His plan for our lives. He brought us out to bring us in!

The next question is, then, what is God bringing you into? What’s He calling you to do? What’s your next season look like? You know what God has brought you out of, but do you know what He is bringing you into? Finding that out is the next step in your journey. Here are two things to can do toe help figure it out. First, the obvious thing to do is pray. Even though it may be obvious, many fail to give prayer the time and energy it needs to get the answers they’re looking for. Secondly, do something for God. Anything. Serve on a team at Church. Start a small group. Mow someone’s lawn in the name of Jesus. In the Bible, God always seems to speak to people who are doing something, and then He redirects their efforts into their destiny. Take a step in any direction and God will start pointing you in the right one!

So, what is God bringing you into?
