Thought: Here we see Jesus’ classical style of no holds barred, straight up, in your face honesty as He tells this woman she doesn’t even know what it is (or Who it is) she is worshipping. That’s a tough thing to hear, especially from God Himself, but it’s an important question that we should all be asking ourselves.
Do we really know the God we are attempting to a worship? Do we KNOW Him now because we have spent the time this week to know Him, or have we simply been living off the fumes of having KNOWN Him in days gone by?

Prayer: God, please forgive me of any laziness or business that has kept me from spending the time to know youthis week. Please increase my desire to spend to time with You. Please lead me into radical, intimate encounters with You this week!
