Day 23
Read: 2 Samuel 6:1-23

Thoughts: Here we see what happens when God’s presences lives with you. Everything Obed-Edom owned and did was blessed because his house contained the presence of the living God! We have this same opportunity in our lives. When we allow the Holy Spirit to come live in us and we commit to protect Him, honor Him, and worship God, you will see God begin to work in every area of your life.
Now, being blessed doesn’t necessarily mean you will get rich, but it does mean that God will supply your every need and more. This is what life looks like for those who choose to house the presence of God inside of them, not just experience Him once a week.
Have you invited the Holy Spirit to come into your life and to stay? Have you committed yourself to honor, respect, and protect God’s Spirit inside you?

Worship Practice: Everyday this week, find moments to spot and worship God. Ask Him to fill you up afresh and to come live inside you! Offer Him complete control of your life and ask how you can better serve and honor Him.
Prayer: God, please forgive me for only letting You come in once a week. Help me to desperately worship You all throughout the week with the respect, honor, and protection You deserve. Please lead me into radical, intimate encounters with You this week!
