Thought: Final thought on this passage. This Samaritan woman is talking about God, having no clue that her Savior is sitting right in front of her! How often do we do this? We often talk about and even sing about God like He’s not even in the room. Even if our words sound directed toward God, our passion and attitude prove that we haven’t really grasped the fact that He, the King of all glory, is in the room.
When you worship, do you honestly consider the fact God is right there with you, listening and enjoying your worship? Does your attitude and passion reflect that amazing realization?

Prayer: God, please forgive me for all the times I’ve worshipped like You weren’t present and didn’t give you the passion and honor You deserve. Please help me to realize Your actual prescience here in the room as I worship You. Please lead me into radical, intimate encounters with You this week!
